EGR delete - mileage

Has anyone noticed a change in their mileage after doing an EGR delete. Just curious.

me either no increase or drop, but knowing that im less likely to loose my head gaskets is a plus.

What is the best price/ quality you guys have seen on this mod? I just got a 05 DRW 1ton 4x4 with a 6.0 in it and Im scared to death of this thing failing. I rely on it to tow, no mods other than a electric fan, and a crappy aftermarket air filter setup that was on the truck already.

Have you noticed anything with the electric fan, did you take off the clutch fan? Also river city diesel has a nice egr cooler delete setup

less likely to have a failed egr cooler or hydro-locked motor from it!

I noticed that the truck was a lot quieter. I hate mechanical fans! The fan that was on the truck before was off balance due to a serious wreck it was in....and they left it on! When I ditched that thing I did notice a difference of 2# less boost at highway speeds. On a side note, what the scan tool read, and what the boost gage read on the dash differed by about 3#...hmmm. The mechanical fan was locked up all the time. I also noticed that it takes VERY little to cool these things off. Maybe less than it did on my 7.3 psd. I had a tiny FWD car fan on there and never had an issue, and I towed almost constantly. Through the mountains and in heavy traffic. Now Im using a 94 Lincoln Mark 8 fan which takes up almost the whole radiator. Thanks for the link, that is the best price I have seen so far...by a 100 dollars.
