DPF Delete?

I've got a new 389 pete coming with a 600hp c-15 is there anyway to program it so it doesn't regenerate? i ultimately want to keep it stock but just gut the dpfs out. so it sounds good and so i can put normal straight stacks on it because it wouldn't have the high egts. and it would get better MPG. i don't know why we couldn't do this, all the pickup guys are doing it?

Is there anybody knowledgeable enough to get this done. I have an 08' PX80 in a peterbilt that is on a water well drilling rig. This thing is an absolute nightmare. The rig runs at an idle pretty much all day drilling holes. It doesn't travel more than 150 miles from our shop and is out in the middle of nowhere in western ND and eastern MT. Never goes through a scale and is on gravel roads 95% of the time. I absolutely cannot run with this DPF any longer. It is going to kill us financially. If anybody knows how to work around this and eliminate the DPF I really need to know.

Some one correct me if i am wrong but if the ecm does not see high back pres it will not want to do an active regen. If you leave all the sensors intact it sould work. The delete kits for the pick ups just look like a piece of pipe with bungs welded in for the temp and differental pressure sensors.

the truck was built friday and should be on its way out here. I am in Ca and i'm not scared. how would the scales ever know the difference if the DPF is gutted out?

It would be great if that works?? but i know the pickups all have to be programmed to not regenerate

Yup we have to be programmed if we dont program are trucks it goes into a constant regen. Also have to put all the sensors back into the exsust.

the problem that i see is that it wouldn't be a scale or a smoke inspector(yes). the problem with the new cat engines (you know the problem they had)is not the same like other engines. CAT every time it sells a motor(accert) it is checked by air resource, i dont know if it EPA too after sale. also it needs to be checked at least once a year. thats where i see that where your going to have a problem since they check. imagine if you refuse to go to a clean dpf.they(cat) can put the finger with carb, and another thing the CAT system is complicated. remember it needs a line of diesel after the turbo and then the DOC thats inside dpf in the front. just research caterpillar if your engine needs to be check 2 time ayear.for it to be good i think if they say you no need to just do it ,no matter what!!
