Deposit down--should I buy this F250? Could use an Oasis Report

1FTSW21PX5ED33282

If I could get an Oasis report I would be very grateful. 2005 F250 XLT with some nice non-work truck options. Trying hard to see if $2,500 for the Ford ExtraCare warranty makes sense.

Thank you,
Chris

Need more info. Complete description, price etc, photos are nice too.

When I bought mine a similar Dmax was 5-6k$ more so even with the money I have spent so far I'm still ahead and I like my truck. I have had some issues but the transmission problem could have happened to any brand of truck.

6.0 can be a good deal used if planned out right.

I paid $14,900 for mine with some dents in the box 104k 18 months ago. Private sale. Get an oasis (be patient the guys who do them are busy) and tell them to throw in the warranty you could easily spend $4k if you need any of the common issues fixed. Depends on how much work you do yourself.

Just my 2 cents

Good luck

Well it has a newer FICM. If the batteries are old replace them as FICM failures seem to be linked to poor batteries.

No other work on the expensive areas. Try to get a deal on the warranty.
