oasis report

Hi all, new member here. I just purchased an 03 f350 drw 4x4. When looking over the vehicle, I had concerns with the color of the outgas bottle. Tech says everything was fine. Appears somewhat oily and appears to have overflowed quite a few times. Asked for reports at dealer, but they were "unable" to do them at the time. Well I just got back from Florida after purchasing a 28' boat. One the way back I noticed a big lack of power and going up hills there would be a strong coolant smell in the cab. From what I have read, this could be from head gaskets or hopefully egr cooler. I did replace outgas cap to no avail. Level in bottle is a little below the min mark and didnt really change much. The temp gauge shows in the middle.

Any help would be appriciated
Patrick

Thanks for the report. Sorry for taking so long to reply. Computer went down and I just got around to replacing it. If I am reading this correctly, it appears that none of the recalls have been performed on this truck. Is that correct? Also now the truck is sitting in my shop. It started pouring white smoke and is low on coolant. Any chance of getting help from Ford on this one even though it is out of warranty?
Thanks again, Patrick
