WTB:05-06 good 6.0 heads- NO CRACKS
Looking to buy a set of good used 6.0 heads- mine have cracks on the seats, etc. due to an overheat. Let me know whatcha got and how much. Thanks!

P.S. Im not sure if it matters, but I have the 18mm dowl pin heads/gaskets...
'01 PSD 7.3L Excursion Limited EBM1, 14" lift, rear atlas, 44" Goodyears, crossover steering, 20x10 XD Series Hoss Bronze, ORU dual shock hoops, 14" King Piggybacks, Magnaflow T304 system w/5" tip, FTVB w/50/50 mix regular Mercon/Mobil 1 in trans, Mobil 1 PS flush, Tri-pillar loaded w/Di PriCols (EGT,trans, boost), TS 4 pos. switch chip, ConFerr Rack, Cobra CB, TT/sig mirror conversion, 170 hi-amp alt, Hi Lift equipped, aftermarket headlight wiring harness, UltraDuty rearend cover w/Mobil 1 syn. w/OE friction modifier, Hutch/ITP intank mod, 2 Micron Dahl PrePump, FPR Jack shim [email protected] 70psi, 203 deg T-stat, billet housing, Coolant filter, Tru-Cool trans cooler, Hawk pads, Centric rotors, Valvoline synthetic brake fluid 118k so far...OG CPS died @116k
Recent fix: Pass. side UVGC and rebuilt 4r100 filled w/Mobil 1
Next mod/fix: Perf45 equipped rear driveshaft

You can use any year head. In '06 they switched to 20mm dowel pins, but you can get a stepped dowel to use them.

Still looking...just to clarify, im lookin for a used good set for $400 or cheaper...need to get the truck back up and operational. Thanks all!

Let everyone know where you find a GOOD set of NON-Cracked heads for $400.00 or less...

Um..yea..

I have a set .. they have 7k on them since the rebuild...all new exh seats etc...they are even ported.. Just the r&r work alone cost 1400.00 and I'm only asking 1k.


Ebay will get you remans for 4-500 each head.. then there's shipping.

And the 20 mm dowel was late 07 as they were starting to machining for the 6.4 engine
2004/04 F-350 6.0L(b.o.d. 12-11-03)
Just a couple of Mods :Thumbup:

More toys than time...

I have a set of 06 heads, they had 108000mi on them, they have above average idle hours, the engine lost a cam follower but ill let them go for 400.00 plus shipping
