Instructions for Xcal 1

Need operating instructions / manual for Xcal 1. Either emailed or faxed or whatever.

I looked on SCT's site and didn't find anything.:umno:

Are you looking for info on downloading tunes? I dont think there is an owners manual.
I will be downloading some tunes tonight. Once I get it figured out, I will send you some info if you still need it.
Or you can call Mike in the post linked above, he seems to have it down.

I better explain in detail. What I need is how to flash the truck with the xcal 1.

Here is the deal........ last fall I bought an xcal1 loaded with "light" tunes as a birthday present for my brothers bone stock truck. Got it used from a vendor here (and I am in no way bashing him). Good price and service though. Anyway, there was no instruction manual with it.

Now, I'm fairly versed with the xcal2.......... but the xcal1 with all the blinking lights throws me. And I did check sctflash.com, but nothing on the dino-xcal1-asaur.

So I called said vendor, who told me over the phone the flash procedure, but was never able to procure written instruction. Actually asked twice, plus an email or two. No results.

The problem is trying to explain it to my brother......... he doesn't want to flash it with out "reading the book".:RTFM: If you knew him, you'd understand.

Wasn't a big deal last fall when we got it......... no more than a few days later it snowed and, well, not a lot of use for more power.:umno:

Now it's getting warm and I'd like to get it going for him.
