Need $$$ for a windshield, help a brotha out

Well I'm replacing my Harley Windshield for the 4th time. I've got a new edge platinum/attitude never installed brand new in the box, shipped striaght to my house from edge. $850 shipped. It'll fix 2 problems, my broken windshield and I'm running out of space, in my office.

If you have comprehensive on your insurace, they will pay for it, you just have to pay the deductable, which alot of glass places will pay anyway.

That depends on something.. personal or COMPANY. IMHO, You don't want to do that on Company Ins, only personal.

I can't use my comp. I just switched to this insurance company, and the windshield was already broken. So they noted it. The windshield was on back order when I was with the old company. So they never paid the claim then. And since I'm no longer with them, they won't pay the claim now.

I heard the Superduty windshield was around $239, the glass place I talked to said the Harley SD windshield was over $600 now, my first 2 were $2400, the one before last was $1,800 and the last was $900.

Must be made of diamonds:shrug: , man mine needs replaced sure am glad I didn't get the Harley Edition. That sucks maybe you should try going with the bullet proof edition after as many windshields you've replaced.

2004 F350 Built by Ford fixed by PDR Diesel, Xtreme tuned by InnovativeDiesel, gauges by ISSPRO

:roflmao:

It's got the ford/harley logo at the bottom, and the little dots all around the outside are the harley bar and shield. I thought about just putting the standard superduty windshield, but why not put back what came in it?

Glad I am in Florida, if you have full coverage there is no cost for a new windshield, and some installers offer a free box of steaks.
