AIC = Auxillary Idle Control

It mounts under the ashtray area and plugs right into the factory harness under the dash. It shows your TRUE RPM's and has settings for hi idle. Mine is set at hi idle for 1300 rpm's for faster warm ups in the winter, and to keep the AC cold in the summer. It also has a charge protect setting on it so your batteries cant run down too low. Automatically keeps enough juice in them to start the truck. Very handy box to have. I LOVE mine. Most are found in the wreckers for the higher idle used to run the PTO's.
