94 3500 Now $7500

Updated on 10-30-05
I'd like to sell this pretty soon, so I'm dropping the price to $7500. It runs and looks very good. For this price, I'm not going to fix the AC line or headliner. The truck is now being sold as is. May even take a slight trade for a Suzuki Samurai. No other trades. This is a very good price for this truck.. That price is firm.

I purchased this truck several weeks ago to build up as a daily driver/pulling truck. My friends in KY got me interested in jeeps and samarais when I was there last week. So now I've already purchased a samarai. It's gonna have diesel power, huge lift, and 38-40 inch tires. I've decided not to spend any more money to build up this trucks motor, so I'm just gonna go ahead and sell it to fund the monster samarai diesel project..
I had a carfax run on the truck to make sure mileage was correct, and the previous owners story was true.. It was originally used over the road for approximately 3-4 years racking up I believe 228,000 miles in those first few years. The second owner used it to occasionally pull a trailer. It did a lot of sitting in those years. The previous owner said he replaced the ball joints, shocks, brakes, and clutch (said it was a $750 clutch, though he couldn't recall what brand) within a couple thousand miles of me purchasing it. The truck currently has 241,000 miles on it.
Here's a list of things that I've done since I bought it...
-New two toned black and silver paint job.. similar to the Harley edition F150..
-New stainless wheel simulators.
-Newer style exterior mirrors (black)
-New headlights (the lense on the old ones looked cloudy)
-New chrome tube style grille insert
-New dash cover (not the cheap cloth ones)
-Newer seat out of a 97 or 98 model (the old one's cushion was smashed down on the edge of the drivers seat)
-New carpet (the old looked worn)
-New fuel shutoff solenoid
-370 injectors
-New ventvisors ventshades
-Just tinted the windows

Now for what I haven't gotten to yet, though for a little more, I can have fixed..
-The Air conditioning isn't currently working. The previous owner said it stopped blowing cold. I took it to the dodge dealership to have them try and charge it, and it has a line with a hole worn in it letting the freon leak. I'm hoping that's the only problem, though I can't say for sure. They said for $200, they will charge it with freon, and replace the leaking line.
-The steering.. When driving, the steering wheel is turned when going straight. I heard the trac bar is sometimes a problem, so I bought a new one and took it to the dealership.. Come to find out, they said everything is fine in the front end. It just needs an allignment.. I will have that done soon.. They told me $69 for the allignment.
-After the new 370 injectors were installed, It revved much quicker than before.. I thought it was great.. Then the RPM gauge quit working..
-It's in need of tires. A person could probably drive for a long time on the current ones.. I think they are too wide.. They just barely touch in the back.. They are 265 75 16's all around.. I've just heard the touching can cause heat, and an eventual blowout.
-The tailgate doesn't work well..
Well, that's the good and bad.. The truck runs great.. It looks very good, though it does have some dents that weren't fixed when I had the paint job done. I'll point them out in the pictures.. Over all, It would be very tough to find a 94 that looks as good as this one..

Asking price is $8750.. You can mail me here, or [email protected] ... I have the title in hand.. Thank you,
Brad Morse

It has 241,000 miles on it.. Most of those were put on it's first 3 or 4 years (If I remember correctyly, around 228,000 miles). The next owner only used it on occassion to pull a trailer. It sat quite a bit in those years. I bought it to build a fairly strong truck to drive and be capable of playing a little at truck pulls. My first priority was to make it look good.. I didn't get far till I decided to build another diesel project. I only installed the 370's..
