SUV Capacity..Need Help Guys & Gals

Allright, here we go. Looking at getting wifey a newer vehicle. She wants a SUV...newer body style. Here is what we are looking at......

Ford Explorer
Ford Explorer Sport Trax
Dodge Durango
Jeep Grand Cherokee

Now, what we need to know is this......

1. what has the best towing capacity? (2 horse bumper pull trailer)
2. which is more reliable?
3. mileage?

So, lets here what everyone thinks............

We own a 99' Durango, so it is the only one I can give any factual opinions about. We like everything about it except the fuel mileage. I was hoping for 16mpg when we bought it, it has the mid size V8 5.2L "318". It averages at around 13.75mpg mixed highway and in town. Every once in awhile it will get close to 15mpg, but sometimes it barely gets 13mpg. I blame this variance on the poor quality of gas we gets now days.

Other than that, it has plenty of room for me in it, drives nice, is reasonably quiet. We have only towed our pop-up camper with it approx. 1700lbs loaded, but it had no problems.
