Thumbs up Bilstein Shocks

39900, Rancho's very tired. New Bilstein 5100's - truck feels solid again. These things creep up on you so slowly, you probably don't notice how mushy the ride has become. That was the case for me.

Had the OEM version of Bilsteins on my 2000 and was happy with them. The 5100's seem to be a notch better. These trucks have a lot of unsprung mass and need a quality dampener! Ford should be red faced over those miserable 'Rancho' shocks!

Just sayin'

coincidentally, i did this exact same thing last weekend - i had noticed a significant degredation in ride quality in the rear after installation of air bags. these new Bilsteins definitely improved the ride. the truck is now firmly planted and rides great!!!
