No Start and other problems

I've been really happy with my 2011 until recently.

As I got into the 70 - 73k mile range on my 2011 I've had a spurt of issues including weakened batteries that fried the Nox sensor, an overheating EGR valve (warranty) and now an intermittent no start issue that is getting more and more frequent (6 out of 10). Dealer says problem is with a connection on the "battery junction box" and tried to glue it in place to save me money ($350 + 9 days of lost use). That lasted exactly two days and now I'm facing a $2,300 harness replacement.

They say Ford is not aware of this as a common problem, but the initial service writer told me they had 19 active no start cases and that the resolved cases in the system required replacement of the harness, PCM or gauge cluster. Anyone have any info on this type of issue?

This is suspiciously reminiscent of a '90 Taurus we had that self destructed at 70k miles (nothing seriously, only ended up replacing the motor, trans, radiator and fuel pump). At the time I swore off Ford (2 decades), but was swayed by the new engine and other's Super Duty experiences.

Thanks

I am not exactly thrilled because I still think a wiring harness should be able to endure well over 100K miles. However, Ford did step up and is going to pay 80% of the cost of replacing the faulty battery junction box/wiring harness. This will leave me with about a $550 bill.

update - drove the truck all over god's creation for a weekend (towing abot 3,000 lbs) after the harness replacement and thought the problem was gone. Went to leave the office the Monday afterwards and surprise, "No Start" again.

Dealer now has the truck again (2 days so far) with no word.

Since the harness did not fix the problem, will they refund your money for replacing it?
What about loss of use?

After two months of fighting with Ford over the intermittent no start issue I resolved the problem. I bought a 2014 Duramax.
