Should I get a new truck

Hello everyone, I have not been on here for a while. I have a 2001 7.3L F350 and I am looking to get a new truck and have an opportunity to get one that I like by Friday. A 2015 6.7L F350, my question is should I get it or wait for the new 2016 with the aluminum frames. My concerns are the fuel mileage with the new trucks. Any information would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Art

I have never heard any thing about aluminum frames. Bodies yes, but not frames.

Around town empty an aluminum body may save mpgs, but with a load or at highway speeds it is the wind drag that determines mpgs. Aluminum will not be any help.

The aluminum bodies are for the 2017 model year. The 2016s go into production next week, May 27.
