Ford-Navistar to Split

It's official. Ford and Navistar will part ways by the end of 2009 and settle their lawsuits against each other. Might be time to purchase the DD and DPF delete pipe.

Ford already has a new motor in production. The 6.7 V8 its an in house motor.

I'm with Cattech when I see that new motor in the truck on a lot then I will believe it. The date has been pushed back several times!!

Mexico production of the Scorpion begins later THIS year. Ford needs motors for 2010MY trucks. That means the trucks & engine production will begin very soon (May June). So....... are you guys ready for the 6.7L which should debut later this year around October????....see my edit below,

Update.....from some blueoval sources

"There is still some work to be done at the plant before either the 4.4L or 6.7L will be coming off the end of the line. Besides, Ford is committed to buying engines from Navistar through the end of 2009"


So, it looks like some MY2010 trucks will still have a 6.4L(job 1), but probally Job2 2010MY trucks will have the 6.7L.

i was just told they "made up" the otherday, someone said it was on the news, another guy said he saw it on the news too.

Ford certified diesel tech.
96 F350 reg cab, black. stage Is, exhaust intake TS 6pos chip and a few small tricks. tranny built up a little and a billet converter. 4in lift 35 bfg muds.
3" cowl hood, billet grille, bumper with billet grille and fog lights, 10in drop rear bumper with lights and a dropped hitch.

90 mustang lx 347 afr 185s, vic jr efi, aeromotive fuel system, c4 , 4.10 31 spline, tube k member and control arms coil overs and control arms in the rear, 10pt cage.

05 f250 red ext cab grey int, 4x4 6.0 suncoast tranny, ats 275cc injectors, studs, aeromotive fuel system, turbonetics 70mm ceramic coated turbo, dual 5 inch stacks turnned out. ALL PARTS FOR SALE
