and the tranny will be the least of our worries. 18 bolts per side.

Lets just say not quite stock.

yea, I'm guessing with an all new stronger block and clean slate engineering, this motor will easily surpass the current 6.4 in power capabilities. Let alone the displacement increase.

Those are great numbers for a stock engine! I'm really looking forward to the release of this one, hopefully someone I know gets one and wants to play. It will be a while before it "proves" itself. I would be pretty nervous to buy one first year it came out. I can't think of anything off hand that did not need some time to work the bugs out. And it has been a long time since Ford built a diesel.

6.7 ford

Sweet numbers might have to trade my 6.0 in instead of hopping it up and taking a chance of lifting the heads. That's all the power you need stock.

Don't forget Ford has been building tons of diesels all around the world exept here. They are world class motors (the euro fiesta gets 65mpg). They took all the knowledge and built the best diesel they could. I have 100% faith this motor will be bad a$s. They spared no expense. From the oil pan up, they did everything right.
