thoughts on 2008-2010 suspension lifts working on 2011

Most people I've spoken to who have looked at the truck in person said they didn't see any changes to the suspension but i'd like to gather some of your thoughts.
With the new diesel engine weighing less, will the springs need to be different?
thanks for your thoughts because I am about to purchase a 2008-2010 lift for my new ordered 2011

Why? You need the lift that bad that you just want it sitting in your garage and are even willing to get the wrong one? You're truck is SEVERAL months out. By then you could get the right lift. Why put yourself in that position?

first off, the truck isn't several months away until delievery, Maybe 7 weeks left if everything goes as planned the FORD. If the lift is wrong, I'll just get another one or have to wait but until a company makes one. I was simply asking for people's thoughts to "if" the 2008-2010 lifts will fit. Thats all. I don't like stock trucks especially at stock height and I will have the truck lifted maybe less than 2 days after it is delievered if fitment isnt an issue.

I'd wait. I think there are some differences. Or, just change your order to a 350 with the heavy service springs up front and you won't need to lift it.

How much lift does the heavy duty front give the truck? I am looking at getting a 6 or 8 inch

Im doing the same thing. 35's should look great on 20" wheels. Going to the Auto show in Philly to look at the truck... Really chompin at the bit to get it.
IMO I would wait to buy anything for the truck till it gets here. I was told I can have my tires and wheels in a week after I take delivery

No where close to 6 or 8 inches. The heavy springs up front lift it just under 2 inches from stock.
