What is it worth roughly

I got offered a crank, head(complete i think maybe), bare block. I believe it is for 94-98 12v but could be 89-93 i will find out today hopefully. What are the dif between 89-93 and 94-98 on the block, crank, head???? He only wants $300 doesnt seem to bad tell me what you think.

Brandon, so many things "could" be wrong here. How much do you trust this guy. The block could be cracked the head could need work or be cracked. However if everything checks out and it is all in good shape I would think that is on heck of a deal. (hoping it came from a p-pumped 12v )

Well its a family friend who lost hope for a conversion so trust is not an issue lol he is alot bigger than. me so a beating if something is wrong will require lots of beer lol. So lets say its in good shape....hell of a deal then either way 300 bones seems cheap bu if its bare i guess that sounds better will no more tonight after i talk wit my uncle who is checking it out for me.

The blocks are essentially the same IIRC. The heads will all bolt on the bu the non-I/C motors uses a 9mm injector tip and the I/C'd motors use a 7mm tip injector.

So it is a 97 block head and crank. It is still an rotating assembly. Are these blocks sleeved or not? Cause my plans may have just changed to building a p-pumped motor instead. My uncle also found me a decent 89-90 Dodge D250 Reg cab no motor or rearend and no bed but has the 60 up front and an auto but i wil be running a manual more than likely and transfer case body is fair no major dents in bed or front clip for $800. Where does a person look for rebuild kits for the cummins might have to bore it a little def starting from scratch. Will know more as i get moved there and get the truck bought and pulled into the shop for the winter project
