well i value your input and i could possibly agree with you in that i ALWAYS wanted a 6speed and now i hate the damn thing. but i would rather deal with noise over having to shift. lol. can i ask you this question though neel?
do you like the CR just becuase of the "quietness" compared to a 12v? or are there other reasons? i mean right now, im young and i really dont mind loud noises. lol.
i'll share my recently devised plan with you. not sure if im going to carry it out but here it goes:
sell my truck for $18-22K. (thats optimistic sp?)
pay off the rest of my $18K loan i took out, which i owe about $12k
put about half of the remaining money down on this truck i really want (a '97 2500 QCLB with 85K miles on it from washington)
put the remainder of the money in the bank
i mean i hear where you are coming from with the noise and such but is that the ONLY reason you are advising me not to get a truck like this? dont get me wrong i value your input but im lookin for something different. im MAINLY trying to get out from underneath my $550 a month payments. i just cant do it anymore. im just trying to figure out what i want to do right now. there is a place thats selling a few 2001's that im gonna try to go test drive next saturday to get a feel for exactly how loud they are.
im looking for something cheaper. parts for our trucks are soo darn expensive. i LOVE the electronic aspect of our trucks, that you can put a tuner on and have 200+ extra hp. but im also a fan of doing everything the old fashioned way, putting parts on it. idk. im just throwing ideas around in my head right now. so ANY input from ANYONE would be greatly appreciated!!!
thanks again for your input neel. i really do appreciate it!
