Looking for a rebuild manual for the 727

I am gathering what I require for a complete tear down and rebuild of my 727. Is there a go to book or manual that details the procedure? I would really like a step by step and I need to know all the details that a first time builder like me may not know to do. I know some transmissions require these little tricks that I may not know to do just by tearing it down and laying it out.

ATSG 727 rebuild manuals are copy of the Dodge service manual. I would recommend just buying the service manual for your year truck. Geno's garage has severice manuals for cheap on CD's.

Well I found your other threads about trans work. I wish you had lumped them all together. In this thread you didn't state your working on a gasser.

The 89/90 maunal will cover the diesel trans rebuild and gasser rebuild. So you have both trucks covered. There were very few changes made in 727's from 72 to the end of production in 91.

If you find a manual for a 78 model truck. Do not use the 727 rebuild section. There was a mistake in it that would have you install a apply piston backwards.

93 W350 w/duals, fuel pin turned, 6X.018" injectors, 4" exhaust, 3" air intake horn, HX40/16, G56 /SBC Con-OFE, 307's axles' 2" skyjacker lift, B&W flatbed

Thanks man, that looks like what I need.

I use to lump my questions about one topic together, but I found that I get few responses that way. I am guessing people do not want to answer one questions if they do not know the answers to the others. That or it is just too much to read and go through.
