Bent truck bed fix

The head of my truck bed is pushed towards the cab pretty good, was wondering if anyone had an idea of how to fix/straighten it back out for a headache rack to be installed.

With out removing the bed that is not going to be easy, the only way I would know how to would be by removing the bed and using a block and hammer and work it back in until you get what you need for the rack

My normal method is to use the truck for a hammer and a chain to anchor the bent part.

If the entire bed has shifted forward loosen the mount bolts and set up a braced bridle or a spreader so the pull is balanced on both sides.

If the front of the box is bowed, make a hook of 1/4 in iron and use a comealong to pul the front back a little at a time working from both sides.

Spacing the box back with 1/4 iron strap will get room to mount to the frame but the rear bumper will look odd tucked under the box.

A long time back I did pickup racks of 2 in square tube 3/16 wall that bolted to the top of the frame with a 5/8's bolt and had a 2 foot kick forward or back to spread the load under the truck. Uprights ran 5 in above the cab and the cross pieces ran the length of the flat front of the box and I used 11 ga flat mesh to fill the part above the box. Some of them had tarp boxes over the cab to keep the straps, ropes and tarps out of the dirt, some got ladder clamps and some were rigged to load a horse or 2.
