Just ask him what engine is in her truck? The only V8 cummins made that I can think of small enough to put in a truck is the VT 903 and it weighs as much as a pickup, and is way to big.

The B series 5.9 is the ONLY cummins that's EVER been put in a light duty chassis that was mass produced ever. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

I know all of the Big Three auto manufactures do some test vehicles where they install something not used in current production, But they never let it be sold those one of a kind vehicles are kept or destroyed. One reason is the EPA.

Now someone may have come up with a small V6 or V8 diesel and installed it.
