My truck wont start...

99% of the time that I go start my truck, it takes at least 5 minutes of cranking. I let it "wait to start" then try, nothing. Again, nothing. I even plug it in over night to keep the block and oil pan warm. still nothing. I dont know if the cold weather is effecting something but I need help!! Thanks

check the timing. if its getting air and fuel it should be lighting off but not if the timing is wrong.

I'll definitely check the timing thanks ehopp88ss.
Thanks for pointing that out Patriot2500! I'm fairly new to navigating this site,
so could you please direct me to the "Help!" section and what kind of information about the truck would help? i'll figure out how to get the info under my posts to make things easier.
