I prefer the Amsoil Ea oil filters but if you are looking for something you can get locally then Fleetguard is gonna be your best bet. Cummins aproved and made by them as well. Other than Fleetguard I would run a Wix or Baldwin. Napa Gold is Wix, Carquest as well is made by Wix. AC-Delco has a good filter as well as Motorcraft....just stay away from Fram and the other cheap brands.

Cheap floor mats may cause Toyota problems

Cut a sample open to see what is inside, Fram has less filter, Perolator has more and Wix has more yet. Fleetguard is at the heavy truck shops, NAPA is everywhere.

Several years back I saw pictures from a Mustang site that tried to find, measure and take pictures of all the brands. Lots of brands but not a lot of manufactures, many were identical under the paint.

A bypass filter will make the full flow filter much less important.

I have generally managed to put a bypass filter on most, usually second hand from a junk.

Luberfiner, Baldwin, Fleetguard, Wix, NAPA, Perolator - tearing down junk motors I never found a filter problem, even with major sludge inside.

Store brands and Fram showed signs of plugging and bypass on some.
