Can't go wrong with either of the big 3 and each of them has their own ups and downs. I only have experience with my Dodge, and in 128k I have replaced:
-power steering pump
-fuel pump (went with FASS
-1 set of front pads (love that PacBrake
-3 sets of tires
I average about 500 miles per tank mixed driving adding 1/2 bottle of PowerService at each fillup. It seems as though the truck is running better and better everyday the more miles it gets.
It has had a programmer/downloader on it since 5k and has had the mods in my sig for awhile with no major issues.
