Got all 4 Leaf springs replaced by custom leafs at 6" by Alcan Spring they are a colorado company and hand bend their springs. I'm satisfed with the work, they take your specifications into consideration and make them to that. I'm not even using blocks.

As far as shocks I just got a set for a 5" lift from my local 4x4 dealer since no one seemed to have 6" shocks for the truck. 5" shocks run in between their minimum and max range so extending them an extra inch doesnt really matter.

For tires I'm running 35" Toyo M/T's, not entirely satisfied but thats easily changeable if you can afford it.

The trucks a '90 350

Hope some of this helps.

I talked to a guy with 2" lift springs up front and he said he could only fit 33s. is this right?

Like I said, I only leveled the truck out, with a combination of a longer shackle, and a re-arched set of front springs and it clears 36 x 12.50-16.5 Goodyear Wrangler Military tires just fine. Its probably 3-4 inches higher in the front then when I got it. I have 315/75-16 Toyo Open Country MTs on it right now and they have no problem clearing. I also have very near stock backspacing, which helps. If you have a wheel that sticks out real far, then it is more likely that you will rub.
