2. Is the tubing running from the air intake manifold over across to the turbo the only diff between the intercooled trucks and non?

3. Wat is the power outputs for the 89-91?

4. Also power outputs for the 91.5-93?

5. Is there a diff in output between auto/manual?

#1 91.5 was the change to IC.

#2 The injectors were different. NONIC has a 9MM tip. IC has a 7MM tip. The camshaft is supposed to be different between the two engine also. NONIC has a smaller turbo.

#3 160 HP 400 ft lbs torque rating for both engines.

No difference in power output between the different trans.

Switching to a p-pump. Buy a complete running p-pump engine. It would be cheaper than buying the swap package in pieces.

Well I have had it on two different dyno's. The first time was with an auto trans in the truck. That one told me I had a total of 165 HP with 500 ft lbs of torque.

The second one was a couple of months ago. The only difference between the 1st and 2nd dyno was the install of a G56 trans. The second dyno told me 168 HP with 300 ft lbs of torque.

If you watch prices for used p-pump parts. Most of the time the pump, lines, brackets, timing cover and so on run around 1k plus. Keep your eyes open and you can find complete runners for just a little more.

BTW Used school buses have no resale and a lot of them have p-pump engines.

What is the most you have ever heard of a ve pump making on dyno?

If your talking about streetable HP. About 400 is all your going to get. You will not be doing any towing or working it at that HP range.

For a dyno queen with little road time not used as a DD. The top HP is close to 700. Its also is expensive to get into that HP range.

Well at first it will be a DD for a couple weeks then the fun begins wit roughly 6 months to get something started like i said it will be dedicated to pulling. To be honest i would like to just keep the ve pump for the first season or 2 and get out of it what i can while also keeping an eye out for a donor motor wit a P7100. Now just need to search harder for a truck lol.
