I've never done the swap, always wanted to though. Keep us posted, it'll be cool. What trans are you gonna use?

I was thinking about using the stock trans that is in the 12v, which is a 5 spd. with a new clutch already installed in it. If I do the swap the truck will have stacks, fuel turned up,fuel plate, bigger injectors&turbo, and most likely a intercoller since I dont know if the donor truck would have one or not. Any other ideas.

if you use the dodge getrag 5spd then you either need to use the dodge transfer case or use a divorced transfer case

That sound like a cool project. Once you start it get some pictures up so we can see it. There is a web site dedicated to that exact swap, I will see if I can find it. Or someone my put it up faster.

I was thinking about using the dodges transfer case or the one that is in my truck now. By what the Fordcummins site all that I would have to do is to get an adapter from avanced adapters to use my trans and t case. Any ideas on what I should use. The site realy has me thinking about doing the swap. It is way cheaper than what a newer truck would be. The swap is cheaper than I thought it would be. If and when I do the swap I will be sure to post pics of it.

What for mods should I do if I choose to do the swap. I plan on having dual stacks, fuel turned up,bigger injectors&turbo, intercooler( what would work for one). Any other ideas.
