The 91.5 is its own model. The truck didn't use a crank position sensor. The 92/93's did.

That price as about normal for a rebuild from what I have seen.

93 W350 w/duals, fuel pin turned, 6X.018" injectors, 4" exhaust, 3" air intake horn, HX40/16, G56 /SBC Con-OFE, 307's axles' 2" skyjacker lift, B&W flatbed

Is it possible to install a crank position sensor on a '91.5 truck? I really want to install a factory tach on my truck, and they require the CPS. Does anyone offer a CPS that I can install on my truck, and make a factory tach work?

Thanks

I dought if the 91.5 PCM has that part of the program to read a TPS signal. I also don't know if the wiring harness has the tach provision built into it. I haven't been under the hood of one to check it out.

The factory tack needs a 5 volt signal. You could rig up a magnetic pick and tap off the PCM 5 volt feed wire. That would be a stand alone setup. It wouldn't go threw the PCM. The tack would still work.
