Bosch P pump conversion

I am just thinking of excuses to start a thread, Does anyone know of a way to convert a 1st gen. to a Bosch P pump? A friend of mine said you could. Viva Cummins!

1972 Ford F100, Built 300 inline 6. MSD 6A, MSD Blaster II coil, Ford 9mm Spark Plug Wires,Hedman Header, Dual 2.5" Exhausts with Flowmasters, Offenhauser C series intake, Edelbrock 500cfm Carb, Ross forged 9.5:1 CR pistons, and some headwork.

From what I understand a VE to a P pump is easier than a vp-44 to a P pump.....I'd talk to jeff garmon...he is a P-pump Wizard....But that being said, i watched a !st gen with a VE pump Make 642 Hp on Diesel only at TS performance's event last weekend...

IIRC
1. front cover
2. inj. pump
3. fuel lines to injectors
4. fuel line from lift to inj. pump

The gear housing will have to be changed,this means removal of the cam.P pumps use a different lift pump also

I'm Doing Mine Right Now. It's A Long Task But Doable. You Need The Gear, Housing, Cover Plate, Lift Pump Set Up. Lines. You Have To Convert Your Throttle Linkages. Rewire Your Fuel Shut Off. If You Need Help Just Measage Me And I Can Talk Ya Through It. Not Really Hard Just Takes Time. And Get Your Houseing And Gear From A Junk Yard. New From Cummins Your Over 600 Bucks. I Got All My Stuff For 150
