Unhappy HELP ! 94 12 V W/ Issues VIDEO FOOTAGE !

94 12v With Issues (2.39M Video Included)
1994 12V Issues
Same problem cant find anyone who actually knows half about the Cummins then what they say they know.

Been to 5 Diesel Mechanics
3 Verified
Each had an idea so we did it and so far its not changed .here's what we have done so far......

-$400 375 Horse injectors (NEW)
-New Fuel Return Valve
-New Fuel Filter
-Cleaned the Sediment Screen (Just Now. Not sure why Nobody Has ever brought that thing up but Im sure it could be a cure for alot of similar issues just not this particular one.)
-Added a Holly Pump(Against Tdr Wishes)
-Had the fuel pressure checked (its in the green)
-Removed The Holly Pump (as Tdr Wished)
-Had Fuel Pressure Checked Again (Its in the Green)

Some Issues I know About .

1. NO ANDRIOD !
2. NO FUEL PLATE !
3. The Fuel Shut Off plunger fell out one day and we just poaked it back in planning on doing the MOD that was in the last issue of TDR Mag.

But I know of many trucks running W/O the Plate and Andriod and they dont have this problem ... However Were in the process of Replacing the Missing Parts

(JUST PUT A WHOLE NEW AFC HOUSING ON AND NO CHANGE)

I have uploaded a Dail-Up friendly Video Of the problem you will be able to tell exacty what the Issues are ....turn your volume up.

I know somebody out there has Delt with this before .... Please Lend the Solution.

Here's a Link to the Video It is a Very Small File but Includes alot of Information. I have uploaded it to the Web with Dial up (HAD TO KEEP SHRINKING THE FILE) so you guys shouldnt have any problems with your connection speed incase there is a dail-upper out there who has had this issue.

HERE IT IS


You will See A Fluttering At 1000 - 1300 Rpm (Making the truck Shake Real Bad) Then it clears up and runs perfect .. then you will see it runs smooth to up past 2300 Rpm but with quick bats at the throtle it cackels and blows alot of white smoke

I have heard every thing from its Normal to DV's to O'rings and on and on ...... I kind of blame it on my self for not Supplying Enough Info to Properly Dianosis the Problem. With the Video Footage ITs Clear whats wrong I just dont know what to do to fix it?

I know you had basically the whole fuel system replaced, but if it is blowing white smoke and missing that bad, maybe one of the new injectors is bad. I am not any sort of mechanic just what it sounds like. Sorry for the problems good luck. :shrug:

Picking up a set of Gov springs and will put them in myself and see what happens.

I second the bad injector.... Im no cummins guy... But that makes a lot of sense...

Had the truck for 3 weeks ...It was doing it on purchace ...figgered new Injectors and I would be In there truck was $7000 ...after New Injectors ... UUUUTTT OOOHHH !!!

GOV SPRING CURE .... IM PRAYING FOR IT ...if not then new DV's and Shims then if still not right on the way to JR Atkins and for $450 he will ballance/flow/and time the pump.

Sometimes there are problems with new items....

I wish you luck on the other sites sine you have OUTSTANDING REPLIES...

too much CTD wrenchin' lately ....between swaping 3 diffrent turbos on my truck and rebuilding my brothers 1st gen...EVERY DAY !!!!

Im ready for a cure on that thing for sure !!! and Im ready to stick with a turbo on mine ...just not the one thats on right this second ... :>
