New member sayin hello

Howdy been readin posts and thought i'd better join.
A little about me i have had a number of trucks my current two are my 79 IH scout 2 with a 392 out of a 72 IH pickup i had and a 90 dodge 3/4 ton single cab i bought this last july with the getrag goin out. Since then I have put a rebuilt trany and new clutch in it and put a pyro in before turning up the pump. I have put 16000 miles on it and am in love with it mods to come include intercooler different turbo old smokey pin boost gauge and injectors look forward to using the site as a resource through the build up thanks for reading.

Does the inter cooler really make any difference ? And Welcome aboard..

i do some towing and drive over a 7% grade pass a couple times a month and have had to back my pump off to keep the egts manageable. an intercooler should help by cooling the charged air, and that should lower egts to. i also have it straight piped and that helped but would like to step up to a larger pipe to let it breath easier.

Welcome to the TDG! The IC is an excellent mod for the Non IC tow rigs. If you can get ahold of one the 7.3 PSD IC's work nicely. Oh and just a suggestion, I would grind my own pin and your injectors are good for 300HP.

thanks for the heads up cumminspride just a couple questions what year psd intercooler should i be lookin for and is there somewhere that i can read about how to grind my own pin.
