A 2WD is a D model. A 4x4 is a W model.

Most of us with the $X$ models don't need lifts or at least my W doesn't. Its 21" from the ground to the bottom of the rocker panels.

My wife is 5'3". You should hear complain every time she has to climb in.

haha yea my trucks tires are a little smaller than stock so it sits a little lower. but its the 4x4 as well. but when i get bigger tires put on, i just wanted to know if someone has ever lifted a first gen W350 with the duals. doesnt have to be a big lift, just so the truck is a little higher than stock. thanks,

I've heard good about superlift. There is a guy that had some skyjacker springs crack on the DTR. I think philip had some issues with one of the companies bushings.

I haven't installed my skyjacker springs. YET. There is a problem with the skyjackers. The springs are good. But they are off on the front spring eye bushings they send. When they did the mock up on the springs they used a pre 91.5 model truck. These used 1/2" front spring eye bolts. The 91.5 to 93's use 5/8" spring eye bolts. They will send you 1/2" bushings. It doesn't matter what you tell them. It doesn't matter if you call and complain. They just tell you to remove the steel sleve.

I have to 2" lift front springs. I have a kelderman air ride for the rear.

That guy on DTR I bet was trying to carry loads with those rear skyjackers. They don't do that very good plus he had a traction bar setup also. My bet is the traction bars. They were long. Something has to give when you use that setup.
