alt. wiring

ok i have an old becyrice erie crane with a 6b (not turbo charged) i think the engine was built in the '80s and was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for the alternator. i forget if it has one big stud and three little ones as a plug or just three little ones...the plug and wires are obviously missing.

Big stud is the power out, 2 of the little ones connect to the rotor brushes and may or may not have a ground on one, third may be the stator center or a ground.
Stator is low ohms, rotor is next range on the meter. If one end is grounded both will read to ground - zero ohms and rotor.

Big wire to battery and the rotor wires to the voltage regulator. For good service pay as close attention to the grounds as to the 12V wires.
