Injector Questions

I'm looking for the specs for 1st gen injectors. Did they change injector design when they became intercooled?
Whats the stock pop-off pressure?
Spray angle?
Number of holes and orifice size?

The spray angles are the same between IC'd and nonIC'd VE equipted engines.

I am thinking 245 bar on pop pressure.

IC injectors are a 6X.009" hole size. I can't remember the nonIC size. 4X.012's seem to come to mind.

IC injectors are a 7MM body. The nonIC has a 9MM body size.

93 W350 w/duals, fuel pin turned, 6X.018" injectors, 4" exhaust, 3" air intake horn, HX40/16, G56 /SBC Con-OFE, 307's axles' 2" skyjacker lift, B&W flatbed

Non intercooled injectors are 4x0.012" with a 9mm shank, intercooled injectors are 6x0.009" with a 7mm shank. Why would the spray patterns be the same when the piston designs are different?

That guy you are right. The spray angle is different on a nonIc engine. I couldn't find the exact angle listed anywhere. I did call a friend that has some custom EDM's done for a nonIC engine. He was told it had a 135 degree spray angle. Our IC engines is a 145 degree.

Actually the Non IC engines have a piston bowl in the 152-155 range.

The '91-93 intercooled pistons are the same as the '96-98 pistons, 145 angle.
