A 93 will have a H1C on it stock. The HX35's didn't come out till the 95 models.

What would the advantage be if he swapped turbos? He had one laying around and didnt no if it was worth the effort to swap.

Going from a H1C to a HX35 isn't much of an upgrade. If he plans on throwing much fuel at the engine. He will run out of turbo fast.

That H1C should have a 54MM impeller. A HX35 is normaly a 56MM impeller.

Don't get me wrong... But a HX35 with work on your truck but like Phillip is saying it will run out rather quickly. I've got a buddy with a 92 with a HX35 and can bury a 30 PSI boost gauge like nothing... Stock injectors but the pump is turned up.
