Air compressor

Ok so i'm trying to find a Air compressor that will bolt on my 92 cummins, not hit the VE IP or the P-pump when i get it on there...i don't want the vacuum pump as i will not need it for anything and i really want air horns and a large air tank for airing up flat tires and what ever else i need compressed air for. but i see no reason to have vacuum when i will have NO need for it. oh and this motor is going in a chevy pickup so i'll have no hydra-vac brakes. yes it's a project truck... soon i will start posting pics if the project.
Thanks in advance, the HP freak

Cruise control and HVAC both use vacuum, but an electric pump will work for them, Hydro-boost has some rules for hooking up the pump lines, best is just change to a dual return housing.

I have been looking for a year for a MD salvage yard that has one of the beasts W/power steering pump provision.

If you find an air compressor. Make sure it is a single cylinder model. The twin cylinders are noted for breaking the reinforcement bracket and then taking the timing case out.

The singles still have that problem but not as bad as the twins do.

Keydl ask if they have any ottawa yard trucks. They used the air compressors with the power steering pump on them. Its not one of the cheap saginaw pumps eather.
