Borgeson Steering Shaft

Would anyone happen to know if these newer steering shafts by Borgeson would work for a truck with a 6" lift even though the site says it will accomodate up to a 4" body lift. Mines got the slip joint at the gear box and the flanged connection under the hood. Thanks for the input.

I put one on my '94. I do not know how expandable(length) are though. I believe it is the same length as stock just a bettet unit. The factory one colapeses in front impact.
Hope it helps

I think I'm going to give them a call and see if they know now that its monday here. Is your 94 lifted at all? My thing is why try to buy it and see if it works if I can get some input first. The slip joint does fine, but after how long will it break again.

A suspension lift has no effect on the steering shaft. Only a body lift would, because it requires a longer shaft. The drag link and steering assembly after the box is what is affected by a suspension lift.
