what would you pay?

i have a guy trying to sell me a 12v without the ve pump or turbo plus he took the head off the motor and doesnt know if it runs and it has 200,000 mile please let me know what you would pay

$500 probably. I sold almost exactly the same thing, only in real decent condition, for around $300. But that was a hook-a-buddy-up kind of deal.

1992 W250-P-pump and some extra air, gone, but not forgotten.

so do you think i should get the motor? im just worried if the motor has a hair line crack

What would lead you to believe it has a hairline crack?

just that he has took it apart and i dont think he could get it running and as of right now the head is off and it doesnt have the turbo on it

Take the head to an automotive machine shop to inspect for cracks.

Cylinder wall ring ridge and bore condition are the place to look.
