south bend throw out bearings?

Any one have any issues with them? I put a South bend clutch kit in around 14,000 miles ago right before we replaced the tranny. I love the clutch and have had no issues till yesterday. It started making a whining high pitch metal to metal sound. going down the road. I put the clutch in and it got much worse. Let it out and it was fine then would come back once in a while, if I taped the clutch pedal it would go away. Every time I push the clutch in it makes the noise. Be leave it or not it seems to shift ok when I have to use the clutch. I rarely use the clutch to shift so getting home with out using it was normal besides to start and stop. When I got home there was smoke from the bell housing and I looked up and there is a little gap in between the bell housing and i saw a few little balls right there at the bottom of the cover rolling around. So I would say the throw out bearing blew apart? Any one with similar issues or opinion's on the situation? Is there a better throw out bearing out there or should I got to Mopar if South bend wont give me a better one? thanks

Do you know if there is any sort of warranty still on the clutch? If it is the throw-out I wouldnt drive on it too much longer before you get it fixed.

I dont know about southbend but I know whenever I did mine I ended up replacing my flywheel. The one I got has an upgraded throughout, this is it. Just something to look into plus its really not that much.
