98.5 24 valve drove 500 miles and died out of nowhere...fired up with ether after sitting for about 20 minutes...fuel pressure is 13psi with FASS...not my truck...friends dads
I would suggest your friend take the truck somewhere to check for what if any DTC codes may be stored in the ECM/PCM.
At least it will give an idea of where to start troubleshooting as I think this problem my rear its ugly head again in the future.
It could be the VP-44, APPS, loose connectors, grounds, etc. Get the codes first and then procede from there.
