I have a 1999 Dodge 2500 4x4 auto 5.9 CTD, it has 163,xxx mile and has had a throtle problem ever since I have owned it. it laggs like it is not getting any throttle and will creep to around 1900 to 2000 rpms then it takes of and runs like a champ , My injection pumped died last week and we had a new injection pump and lift pump installed the truck still has the same problem with the throttle I was hoping it had something to do with the injection pump but the only thing that changed when the new pump was installed is that it runs again. oh yea there are no codes.

Maybe start looking at your throttle cables. And how did you take out the pump? Did you clock the pump in at 12'o clock, when you took it out?

I see you installed new lift pump, did you buy a stock one or go aftermarket, like a FASS or AirDog? Did new injection pump come with a new APPS?
