'99 Dodge 2500

Been looking to buy a Dodge for awhile now, and recently found a '99 2500 with 180,000 rounds on it. Only problem is that it apparently acts as if it's starving for fuel (not all the time, random I guess) and then dies. If you let it sit for 2 or 3 minutes, it will fire back up and go fine. Anyhow, they don't want to deal with it (suggested it might be a fuel regulator, heh) and I don't blame them as they don't have the slightest clue.

My thoughts were -

A) Air leak somewhere
B) Injector pump or
C) Lift pump

Anybody have any experience or insight on these symptoms? The mileage sounds like possible pump failure, but I'm not familiar with how they die, or act as they are dying. I'll find out if either pump has been replaced.

Could be a steal, or could be a stinker.

Thanks for the help,
