Intercooler Removal

Anyone else have fun removing their intercooler from their truck? Got any good tips/tricks for this?

90' 1 Ton Dodge Diesel 4x4 Stock 12v. 5-speed Getrag. Custom 6'' Alcan Springs. 35'' Toyos.

2002 Dodge 2500 Cummins Automatic Stock.

its not to bad but you do have to remove the AC radiator which sucks casue you have to have your system recharged and you got to pull the radiator casue it sits inside the inlet and outlet of the intercooler. so not much tricks you can do besides taking the whole front end apart. not fun but it doesnt take that long maybe an hour to get it out if you have no interuptions.

under the knife for rebuild

Anything is possible. I posted that question before I had finished mine trying to get the truck ready for a work trip. I wish I had a camera or even a phone when I pulled mine out. I wanted to see if anyone else had done it with out discharging the AC or the radiator.

If your careful enough you can move the AC condensor up and out past the radiator after taking that front brace off the body.

As for the radiator I just carefully managed to just lift it straight up one side at a time to pull the intercooler out.

Also removal of the front bumper.
