lift pump pressure

hey guys, i just mounted edge juice w/attitude cts on my 99 truck yesterday.
and i noticed that the fuel pressure in dropping to 5 psi when i floor it in level 4-5. i also got fass lift pump, but havent mounted it yet. what is the correct fuel pressure, and shall it drop when i floor it?

16PSI at Idle and not dropping below 10psi @ WOT on your FASS. The stocker is prolly not doing much over 8-10psi at idle.


Running the fuel pressure below 10psi for long will cause the VP44 injection pump to fail.

Agreed^^ Main thing is keeping that fuel pressure above 10psi for WOT

Ok, thats what i thougt.. Actually it dropped to 2 psi for a little second, ****!!
Need to get in that fass fast.. Thanks guys

got in my fass pump in yesterday, and i got 15-16 psi at idle, but when i floor it it drop to 5-6 psi!? could it be the fuelfilter is bad?
I see that bd diesel have some banjo upgrade, will this help?? ****!!

I read it via my edge juice cts, with a banjo on the inlet tube on the vp44...

I would try and put another gauge on it and see if the edge is telling you the truth. I would not suspect you would pull the pressue dow. On a FASS that much.

what fass and how installed

01 quad cab 4x4, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, fass 150, 250 ddps, Jefferson State compounds 683hp so vp 11.91. AMSOIL front to rear. now back to stock 95 fummins in the works
