lope at cruising speed

the problem is getting worse, when the truck is cruising with no load you let off the pedal and coasting then give it just a touch of throttle it lopes real bad (whap, whap, whap, whap) then as the truck slows down and it puts load back it goes away. I tried to make it do it in park with just light idle but it wont do it, just at a cruising speed, it never has dont this before. any ideas. I dont think it is trans or converter, its kinda like when you deck the motor and let off it kinda lopes for a sec, then levels out???

Like previously said, pull the codes by doing the key trick and let us know. It could be several different thing and the codes may tell you just what it is or at least narrow it down.

yea I thought someone might know without a code (something mechanical) It's in a freightliner box truck (ex snap-on tool truck) and it has a diognostic port put it dosent look like regular obd 2 Im sure it has to go to freightliner, but there is no check engine light on. Ill prob just have to take it in when I get a chance, it runs fine on the pedal or all the way off the pedal it's just wierd hearing the engine lope like that when at a slight pedal it never did it before.

Sometimes it will do that when the APP's Voltage is not right. And a bad ground and cause it, so check the grounding point on the side of the block.
