Exclamation NV4500

I know this has been discussed a lot but all of the stuff I read seems to be on trucks built for pulling so I'm going to go out on a limb and ask again. What are the recommendations as far as NV4500 vs NV5600 is concerned? I have a trashed 47re in it right now. The truck is a daily driver and I don't plan on pulling in competition or pulling in general much. What transmission would you recommend and if there is any advice I would be much obliged to you for sharing it!

The 4500 you can pick those up from a junk yard and they are very strong transmission.

i converted mine to a 4500 4 years ago....... wouldnt trade for anything in the world........

BUTTTT...... if i had to do it again i would put a 5600 in over a 4500. that extra gear sure is nice..... and i thing the 5600 shifts a little easyer when your banging around in traffic.

Thanks for the advice. Is there any recommendation as far as getting parts? I am in Stillwater, OK which is about 1 hour 20 min from Ok City and I have heard Blumenthals is a good place to have it done. I'm from SC so I don't have tools or anything to do it myself. Any advice there?
