Tranmission question

Well, I have just finished getting my 5" stacks straight (I had to put silencers in, the neighbors were rioting) and all tiddled up. Got gauges in (broke the boost bolt again!) only pyro working (it is hooked up in the downpipe bung that came on the stacks). When I was crawling under the truck when it was idling away, I noticed that when I got under the transmission, I could see the flywheel spinning and the torque convertor housing, isn't there supposed to be something covering this hole up? I almost stuck a wrench in there I was pulling myself along under the truck! I don't even want to think what would have happened if my fingers got caught in the flywheel teeth!

Yes, there should be a cover over the hole. You should get one so you don't get a bunch of crude in there.

I drilled some 3/4" holes in my cover to help with converter heat... Or you could be careful and leave it off.
