a trans ?

ok a guy i work with, said he blew his trans pan gasket. he looked at the pan and part of the gasket was sticking out and when the truck was running it leaked fluid. he also said the bolt were a little loose.

so i was thinking the bolts were just loose and to tighten them up,but he still need to put a pan gasket on and while he had it off change the filter. is there something that i'm missing?

not that I can think of. You can get a gasket and filter set together for less than $20 so, I would do a filter anyways. Some more ATF maybe, but thats kind of a given.

He might want to get a deeper pan like the Mag-hytec, PML, or ATS since he has it off. The extra fluid will help keep it cooler. Just an idea.
