help

Coming home today the exhaust temp went through the roof. It wen up to 1200 under very light excelleration. I turned the comp off and it did not releave the problem. All the boots look good, any ideas:thanks:

Bad pyro maybe? What does the EGT's look like while idle? Other than that I'd say you got some boost bleeding out somewhere.

Thanks, I started to think that too. At idle it is around 600 it use to be 400 or lower. I will get a new one tomarrow and I will let you know:thanks: .

That sounds high for sure on the idle.

It should be around 300-400 range. Could be a bad probe, or I have even seen them covered in soot before where they will not read acurately.

Thats the only gauge that I don't have yet . Everything sounds fine and the power is the same with no added smoke. I hope it is the probe. I will know tomarrow. :thanks: for all the info:Thumbup:
