Oil leak from P steering pump

Alright guys i have had an oil leak that i havnt had time to get to on my 01 until today, got under there and checked it out and it is a drip leak coming from the power steering yoke area/pump, and its not steering fluid, the place where the pump mechanically connects is the source area, Just wonderin if any of you guys have had this or heard of this?? I am gonna take the pump off i think.

any help would be great, thanks

If it's leaking at the adapter that bolts to the back side of the gearcase, you can get that gasket at a local Cummins shop. If it's the seal at the vacuum pump/PS pump area, you might need the vacuum pump rear seal. You can get the seal here... Reganis Auto Center (308) 632-8200 [email protected]

man why all the jealousy from everyone : it was a joke about the benz man

Anyways i replace the seal and o-rings and gasket today so basically rebuilt it. It wasnt all that hard. Just time consuming pain in the arse. Some of the bolts are made for a 5 year old to be able to get to not an adult but anyhow. All is well so far. Nice to get the motor cleaned up

Don't know where you heard that, but it wasn't from me. I do have an "issue" but its not caused by that combination. The problem I have right now, is there with both the Catcher ECM and with the factory ECM. Personally I think it is more related to the hot rod pump, but I can't prove it yet.
